We played Eurobeat Disney Medley, combining favourite tunes like "It's A Small World" with "Winnie The Pooh"! :)
Hope everyone had fun making music for not just the sec 1s, but everyone around~ :)May we have many recruits this year!
Though we might feel tired, at the end of the day, our effort will definitely pay off!
After we'd packed up our instruments for the day, we had our Passing Out Parade for the graduates of 2011!
After the arrival of the graduating members, we invited them to go on stage to give an individual speech.
Concluding this segment was our conductor Mr Toh, and other teachers-in-charge, Ms Sharizan; Mrs Shah; Mrs Sabrina Tan; Ms Karen; and Mrs James giving their speeches.
Many of us cried tears of joy and sadness entwined, the sec 4s and 5s for the memories of their years in band, the juniors for their seniors leaving. :'(
We had section leaders passing down their ranks, followed by the committee members doing the same thereafter!
May the committe of 2012 carry on their legacy :)
Next, we showed the video we'd made for our seniors, which was "If We Hold On Together" by Diana Ross, except sung by us!
Every graduate was also given a copy of the video and a certificate for their service to the band!
And after that... WE HAD PIZZA! :D
Every section was given a share of yummmmmmy pizza!~
Om nom nom!
While eating pizza, we also had our little gift exchanges and mingled around. :)
At the commencement of our bonding session, we gathered for a group photo, the graduates' being their final photo as a member of CCHYSB, before being dismissed!
To all graduates of 2011,
we will miss you, do come back to visit us!
